Last week we received an international registered package in the mail. The mailman came went the house was abandoned so we had to go collect it from the post office.
We were expecting 2 international packages. 1 from Malaysia and the other from HK.
We opened the package and found that it was a certificate and warranty of a certain T&Co we bought during our trip. It comes in a black, protective cover that feels like leather, giving it a really luxurious feel.
We weren't expecting it so soon as it had to be produced in New York, sent to HK before mailing it to us in Sydney. It lists down the different terms and condition of the lifetime warranty.
But strangely it only covers warranty if the diamond doesn't conform to the characteristics listed in the certificate and not damages to the diamond after the sale. ;(
I thought next time if we accidentally knock it against something hard and it's chipped or something we can still exchange it for a new one. :(:(
I didn't know they had their own diamond certification. Maybe their diamond cuts are so precise and brilliant that they don't trust other certification bodies. The more commonly known certication bodies are A.G.S and G.I.A.
Now, the GF's engagement ring in a little blue box is complete. It must come with a warranty because "Diamonds are forever" ....
