Hooters Sydney

Patrick was down in Sydney to attend a course , courtesy of his company, and we meet up for dinner. He rented a Toyota Prius - Hybrid car that runs on both electricity & fuel.

After much debate, we finally succumbed to the temptation of Hooters. After a torturing 1 hour drive, we finally reached our destination.

Its damn famous in America, but in our region I think there's only 1 in Taiwan and 1 in Singapore. Suprisingly there's only 2 outlets in Australia. (The only's in Gold Coast)

I had the good fortune of experiencing the Hooters thrill back in Singapore. The menu was largely similar. Typical american food - burgers, fries, wings etc.

We opted for the "911 SCREAMING HOT" version and was warned by the waitress. Cheh! It was soooooo sour with just a tad pinch of spice.

To me, the Singapore version fared better on the taste buds.

The prawns were really good, fresh and succulent.

This dish sucked, big time.

The ribs were suprisingly scrumptious. Tried the one from Cafe Cartel in Singapore and the meat stuck to the ribs like super glue.

The steak was, well just steak. Have yet to find one that beats Hog's Breath.

Overall the deco was not too bad and the food was what you'd expect from an American chain.

However the service was appalling, you have to be billed by the same waitress that serves you and we had to wait a good 20 mins for "Misty" to return from the abyss. Or was she doing the naughty with Patrick?
