The time was 5.00pm.
With bags of clothes in one hand, and empty wallets in the other. We headed back to the hotel for some R & R.
Weather wise, it was still furiously hot.
No visit to Thailand is ever complete without visiting McDonalds. No we're not some McD fanatic who goes around the globe to sample their different burgers.
All we're after is their pork burgers.
Thailand is the only place I know that sells pork burgers at its McDonalds franchises. I've heard HK sells them too but I have yet to come across it.
The pork patty is succulent and grilled to perfection. It's really really good, or it isn't really that good but the reason why I think it's good is because it's not so easily available, making it rare and creating the illusion that it is good?
Makes sense?
The girls managed to fit in a foot massage before we headed out for dinner. According to the GF, the masseurs here weren't that professional and only touch here touch there rather than giving an actual massage.
There are only 2 masseurs at the parlour so ignore this place if you're in a group. There's a 10% discount for hotel guests.
A decent surprise that a 3 star hotel comes equipped with a pool. We regretted not bringing our swim gear. A dip in the pool would do wonders ....
We were looking forward to tonight's dinner. It was a place highly recommended by previous visitors to Bangkok in forums. We thought we had found it during last year's trip to Bangkok but we were conned.
This time around we were adamant that we will find this place!

It was soothing and certainly helped to fend off the heat to a certain extend. It didn't taste half bad eventhough I'm not a big fan of "Yam".
I had hoped it's blueberry or something other than "Yam" but it was hard to tell with all that gibberish.
